dude with the black thumb shows up.....

That is me. I couldn't grow my way out of a paper bag, but hope springs eternal every spring. I have marigolds, sunflowers and cosmos seeds going, hot peppers and tomatos. Wish me luck! We have frost warnings usually until the first week of June, so you plant after the, duh, planting moon.

Me and the wife, you see, I wanted to keep these 2 mugs for US I like them so. I want to make a zillion like them for others, so we are trying out this shape ourselves...road testing....

Last month I was making this teapot. You will notice this tee is a favorite, last month and this month. Got it 5o cents at a garage sale. It is a ladies tee. I am a small guy. I can wear ladies things.

  1. It's not going to grow if you sit and watch it. Ha.
I hope you have a huge crop.
We are planting things here like crazy.

  2. Don't feel badly, G.. I can't grow anything either. I've decided I'm better with livestock, and Brian is the plant guy. It works. :)

  3. Nice mugs. Oh and the elephant teapot? Fabulous! But I'm wondering....wouldn't some Gary Rith flower pots look better in the first picture? Flower pots with elephants. Flower pots with beagles. Flower pots with skulls? Seriously.

  6. Good luck with the gardening Gary! If you want a no-fail plant try mint but keep it in a large planter because it will be growing in your back door mat otherwise. (Mint spreads everywhere) You can make mint tea in your beautiful mugs and Mojitos for those hot afternoons on the deck while you watch your garden grow.

  9. I wear boys shirts all the time. You wear girls shirts. We are awesome.

I can't keep violets alive and I love them. I feel so guilty buying them knowing they will probably end up dead. I've given up on them for now.
