misdirection 2010

Despite my sock monkey's 17 votes and my single vote, our congressman was sh!tcanned. I sent him an email and phone call last spring when he voted against health care (turncoat!) that it would bite him in the azz.
With the dickheads back running the house, are we gonna be talking about teaching creationism in the schools again? Maybe we liberals can expect to have our heads stomped on by republican activists, like down in Kentucky? I'll tell ya, I am going nowhere near Kentucky.
I was at the dentist yesterday with Mary of the magic fingers. You would love going to the dentist too if Mary cleaned YOUR teeth. I have had the same dentist (except for 20 some years I lived elsewhere) since I was a teenager, and he is moving his practice! Oh well.....but Mary is staying. I will stay with Mary, no matter who the dentist who works with her....

  1. Doesn't it feel nice to have clean chompers? :)

  2. I have had the same dentist and hygienist for 13 years. I hope they never leave me.

  3. I haven't been to the dentist in 10 years because we cannot afford dental insurance. That really sucks, I am jealous of those who can take care of their teeth..lol lol :)

  4. I was sad the last time I went to the dentist and my favorite hygienist was gone. Gone!

  5. So many people seem to curse trips to the dentist but I, personally, love a good dental cleaning!

Sorry the votes didn't work out for you in your area. I am just relieved that we all did our duty to VOTE and now we are all living united and wondering what the future (and newly elected) will bring.

But, in all reality -- today is no different than yesterday. [Well, other than the Fluster-Cluck and bumps on my Hump-Day.]

    :-) Happy [early] Thursday!

  6. I don't love a good cleaning when I'm in the chair, but I sure do love it when I'm done.

George and Maureen Johnson, I feel for you. I wish there were some easy and affordable solutions.

Despite the fact that the election was depressing overall, my ballot was pretty successful - all my candidates won and all but a couple of the ballot measures I voted on went my way. But I still feel depressed.
