Hermione and ME

(groovy pitcher by Gary Rith)
It was NOT much of a snow storm, as you see. A few flakes for half an hour.
OK, Hermione? I remember enjoying the first Harry Potter book...then the others in quick succession each summer, but then the books got looooonger and they did not come out each summer....and I lost track. I did not and do not care. The first book was wonderfully interesting, a gem. But I kinda thought the story dragged after book 5-6, and never read 7. Did not see the movies anyway.
According to my dream, which featured Hermione, I made a mistake. Hermione, or Emma, told me I outta see the movies. OH! Well then...

  1. Penny looks like she is singing in the one photo.

  2. I never got around to reading any of the Harry Potter books. I saw two (I think?!) of the movies, but for some reason they just didn't catch my attention.

Stevo, you're right! She does look like she's singing. :)

  5. My boys love the books, but no one is jumping at the chance to see the latest movie. They claim it will be too frustrating to watch only half of the last book and then wait 8 months to see the rest.
I've read the books (current read-aloud with the 5th grader is book 4) but I've only seen a few of the movies.

  6. Love Penny and Buster's photos! Penny is very photogenic...LOL! Re the wizard kids, I lucked into a sale on the first 4 books. They were good, but seemed to get a little formulaic toward the end. So, I never found any more of them in English, and haven't felt deprived. Probably would have bought them if I'd seen them, but ... c'est la vie.
